Fabulous Finds from the World Market

It's market week her in Vegas and The World Furniture Market is in full swing! We've opened our second permanent building as of January o7 so there are new vendors galore. Having made the inconvenient trek to High Point for years to stay at a $300 a night Holiday Inn with no room service, I can tell you that this market rocks!!! We are still lacking many of the higher end furniture vendors and very high end accessory vendors but as new buildings open I am confident they will come on board.

This market does lack the great down home spirit of High Point. No fabulous southern cooking in the showrooms - just crappy convention food. Hopefully it will continue to improve as it grows. I am a native Las Vegan so I am very proud of my little town for attempting such a great project.

Anyway, I have brought home some great ideas and found some innovative new lines that I'll share with you over the next few weeks. First up is ArtDreamsHome. This is a very trend centric line that follows classic design principals. Using inexpensive materials such as resin and high density foam keeps the price point very low. The finishes are mainly lacquer and metallics with lots of mirror.

They produce a myriad of mirrors in many shapes and sizes that can be used alone or in combination to fill a niche or an entire wall.

This Indochine collection would cover a whole wall. It would make a fantastic headboard.
Comes in Basic Colors Only

I liked these large clover leafs.

Wonderfully sleek mantels in a classic style.

A great set of silver leafed, stacking, table pedestals. You can never have enough of these!

This deco bust was one of my favorite pieces. The face is extraordinary.

These fun "wall flowers"had a decidedly ceramic look to them although they are very lightweight.

I love the quatrefoil clover leaf mirrors and the silver leaf tables. What fun to have a show like this and be able to sleep in your own bed at the end of the day.
