Turqoise ~ Pantone Color of the Year 2110

The Pantone Color of the Year for 2010 is Turquoise. For the last few years various shades of aqua, cerulean, teal, and ultramarine have been tremendously popular so this color choice doesn't seem to be much of a stretch. The true turquoise shade that they have chosen does seem to have more depth and a higher concentration of green than the icy aquas we have been seeing. Here are a few of my favs.

That sure looks like "Tiffany Blue" to me. Love the choice. Seems so much more optimistic than the gray we've been seeing everywhere...

Love the turquoise. I live at the beach, so it seems like a natural choice to bring the color of the sea inside. Although I prefer it as an accent, not the whole space.

Maybe kitchen walls with white cabinets or a powder room. Not sure if I could live in a room everyday that was painted that color.
